Terms and Conditions of Business

Terms of payment are 30 days from the date of invoice and are subject to VAT.
Studio rates include 1 hour free briefing and preparation time both before and after your research. Any additional hours to the above will be charged at £60 per hour.
In the event of a dispute arising from a booking, the maximum liability awarded by The Conservatory (Central) Ltd shall be no more than the value of the studio hire fee for the booking.
The Conservatory (Central) Ltd shall in no circumstances be liable for the failure or defective working of audio or visual equipment or any subsequent cost incurred.
The Conservatory (Central) Ltd will not accept liability should the venue contain competitive clients.
The Conservatory (Central) Ltd does not accept responsibility for disturbances outside the facilities control such as noise disturbance or power failures.
The Conservatory (Central) Ltd does not accept responsibility for delays caused by weather, industrial action, transport problems, demonstrations, terrorist action or any circumstances beyond its control.
The Conservatory (Central) Ltd cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to any property brought onto the premises by yourselves, or supplied to us in advance, unless caused by negligence on the part of The Conservatory (Central) Ltd.
Bookings must be confirmed by completing a Conservatory booking form and returning it by fax or email. Booking forms must be returned 48 hours prior to the booking taking place.
Quotations are made in Great British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated and are valid for 28 days from the date of issue.
Invoices are payable in GBP unless otherwise agreed.

Postponement/cancellation fees will be charged as follows on confirmed bookings:-

The use of the words "working days" should be defined as a full standard working day of 9.30 – 5.30 Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) i.e. if you notify us at 10.30 am on Monday to cancel a booking for Friday of the same week, this constitutes four working days notice. All cancellations/postponements must be made in writing (by fax) in addition to a telephone message.
The percentages quoted above are for studio hire costs. Refreshment charges will only be charged if the cancellation/postponement is made on the same day as the intended booking.
All incentives are to be supplied in cash by the client unless otherwise arranged.
Where The Conservatory (Central) Ltd provides incentives on behalf of the client, all incentive monies for the project must be cleared in The Conservatory (Central) Ltd account 24 hours before the booking takes place. A £50 handling charge applies to this procedure. If The Conservatory (Central) Ltd has to provide incentives for the project (by arrangement only) then a 20% charge of the total incentive monies applies to this procedure.
